We have four (4) tours that you can enjoy accompanied by a guide. Get to know the trails, feeders, libaderos and hides of the Reserve.
You will love it!
Path of life
Along this trail you will find the El Torito hide, the Tree of Life and finally you will reach the farthest part of the reserve, to El Mirador. From the Mirador you will see the mountains that surround the forest and a spectacular view of the city of Cali.
Path of soul
You will enter the forest where you will be able to see species that are not seen in the open field such as the partridge dove, scaled torori, tinamou and the mountain thrush among others.
Path of Water
Next to one of our water springs, you will find a hide that will allow you to comfortably see the Red Partridge, Maraquera Guan, Parlotero Malcasado, Torito Cabecirrojo.
Tour around house
You will visit all of the feeders and hides located around the house at any time. Beautiful birds join us every day and enchant us with their melodies and colors.
Visitors
We care about the experience our visitors will have, for this reason we request that you make your reservation 7 days before your visit.
Our facilities
Our reserve has all the infrastructure for visitors, like hides for bird watching and photography, feeders, large paths and gardens, reception area, food area, souvenir shop, rest spaces and sanitary services. Our tours are accessible for people with visual disabilities through a lifeline and QR codes.

A day at San Felipe Birding is a unique and memorable experience living and deeply feeling the biodiversity and the magic of the Cloud Forests of Colombia.
At San Felipe Birding we take care of our visitors, their safety and that of our team, which is why it is very important for us to implement the biosafety protocols established by the health authorities.

Covid19 Protocol
Due to the current pandemic situation, SAN FELIPE BIRDING Natural Reserve, is committed to comply with the actions established in the following Biosecurity Protocol. Also, we are compromised to support out operation in a safe and responsible way, focused on the containment of the Covid-19 virus and the care of our human talent and visitors.
The day before the visitors arrival, a survey form on their general state of health should be filled out.
Upon arrival at the reserve, an entry form is to be filled out. This is so that, if a Covid case arises, all the people who may have been in contact can be notified in a timely manner.
Hands will be disinfected with alcohol or gel that will be provided in the reserve and that you will find in several of the hides.
Hand washing can be done at 3 of the Reserve stations.
All people in the reserve must wear protective masks and keep social distancing in common areas.
If a visitor presents symptoms of Covid while already in the Reserve, he must be isolated and a medical staff will be contacted who will perform the Covid test.
